It didn't become a reality, the conspiracy was about illegally harvesting blood from infants. The possible anti-aging procedure pays adult volunteers, when there is the ability to just make blood it will be used over paying people for it.

Instead of fixating on possible conspiracies, make peace with the fact that many questionable agendas are being pursued that are contrary to what is in the best interest of the common person, mostly in the name of selfish notoriety or generational wealth chase at the expense of the planet's health and through taking advantage of less well off people who will never have the opportunity or capacity to climb out of a societal imposed rut they never consented to being a part of.
