Considering throwing in the towel :/

I belive the problem comes, when people need money urgent, then it dosent become fun anymore, you need it to be relaxing and fun, not stressfull and whit a deadline that is in a few month.

Just get a part-time job to tie you over and tcarry on with IM in your spare time. Once you have built up a solid income, quit the part-time job and work full-time on IM again.

I know I sound like a broken record on this topic, but I make much more selling my own products and services than I do as an affiliate or through CPA. What online services can you provide, for example? There is always a need for good online service providers.

I find it funny that people hanging around in a forum called blackhatworld could be as judgmental as some have been. To anyone in an underground moneymaking environment a real job is a slave job. Nothing wrong with it, but the op has decided that he would rather take other routes that are available. Everyone here has been in his shoes. Myself, I refuse to be a hump as well. There were times when I had to scramble for money. Sometimes as much as 20k in a week. There are hundreds of ways to do it, but one of the things I did to make jack in a few days was to search through CL and find people that want hard to find car parts. Then go to car-part site and find it. Then send them a money request with a little bit of profit attached. Basically use salvage yards as a drop-shipper. I had to do this for a few weeks a few years back and made a few grand real quick. I'm sure a few people will say that it won't work, but I know it does. The point is that there are hundreds of ways to make rent. Good luck.

Yes, I've been a "full-timer" but I'm poor as fuck, now in debt.

It's not worth it. I feel like one of those gamblers who keeps betting more and more money, thinking the corner will turn.

geez! thats a lot of money considering 30% of all internet traffic is porn. Man, seriously go see some stats about internet porn and the revenue that they pull. I don't mean like the giant sites, like youporn, pornhub,xvideos etc. Those are already establishes, but I mean the average porn site.

I found that my biggest problem in IM, is that I was trying to promote stuff I didn't believe in or care about. I just could not put in the effort and dedication it took. I didn't feel right about pushing offers on people that I didn't believe in.

All I did was start looking for things that aligned with my moral values and interests. This is when things started to click for me. I never promote an offer I wouldn't buy for myself, in fact, I usually do buy before I even try to offer it to random people.

This is why I work a little harder and smarter than just spamming the entire planet. I don't like it. I chose communities and interest groups that I had much in common with, and went from there.

I'm willing to bet each and everyone of you share a similar thing in common, your lack of networking. While BHW contains a wealth of information, which can easily overwhelm you, you need to be out talking with other people in the IM world. IRC and Skype chats are a great way to meet others who are doing exactly what it is you want to do. These people can provide feedback and in some ways even make you feel accountable.

People have said it, and I will repeat it, there are SO many different things in IM that make money, so you cannot rely on one or two methods, you must expand and learn as many niches in IM you can so you can find something that interests you. Email marketing, social marketing, PPC, Media buying, SEO, and services are just the tip of the iceberg. Get to networking asap and I think you will see IM in a different light.

Come to where I live.. people here are working 8am-10pm for $200 / month, and the company pays them a flat across the road from the factory to keep a gooood eye on them. Also, in my home country (france), big recession, highest ever unemployment rate, people fighting for a 9-5 cos you still have to pay for your kids school, and for their sneakers and stuff.

a 9-5 job is only a slave job if you've been born with a gold spoon in your mouth.

If you give up you'll never know what could have been. There's always a way and success is determined by your state of mind more than anything else.

Start learning SEO, no you don't need seo tools to be able to rank some low competitive keywords, even lower mid keywords. Start with building email lists through social networks, get accepted into some CPA network and try with promoting their offers through email list you build. As for ewhoring, there is nothing at all wrong with it, and it is a very easy way to make a decent income. You do not exactly have to be directly targeting offers by ewhoring, but it can be used as a way to gain rapid targeted customers on Facebook.As for it being illegal, where exactly are you living?

I have made most of my money in internet marketing in niches that lots of others have said that it is too competitive, not profitable, etc. INCLUDING PORN!!

I do agree with you about e-whoring. But I have made a lot of money from Porn in the past year and a half because I read some threads about E-whoring. My first thoughts were, I can't do that! Not because I couldn't, but because I thought it was unethical. But I thought that it was pretty funny though! I was just picturing these horny guys thinking they were chatting with a beautiful woman that wanted to have sex with them when they were in fact talking to a 50 year old fat ugly guy.

But that jump started some ideas. I spent 6 Months perfecting my method. I was spending 10 times what I was making. I was getting decent traffic but hardly any conversions. I even said to myself a few times, "Maybe everyone is right, Porn is not profitable". But I tested other ideas for monetizing the traffic and finally found some good converting offers that made my porn traffic very profitable.

I was a newbie in the porn world even though I had 10 years experience with IM. But it didn't stop me from making a lot of money from it. AND I DIDN'T GIVE UP AFTER 2 MONTHS! The first 6 Months I was losing money. Countless hours were put into it with only lost money to show for it. Time and money well spent!

I know of someone who spent his first 8 Months in IM and didn't make hardly a dime. But he never gave up. Always trying different things. I helped him out and shared some ideas with him. Then he started having some successes. His 2nd year he got 2-3 Million in commissions!! Don't have any idea what his expenses were though. Even if half of that was his expenses, that was a pretty good profit for a year! I am not taking any credit for his success. He would have been successful even if I shared no info with him. Have no idea what he is making or doing now, haven't talked to him in about 3 years.

My point is, there are many MANY successful internet marketers that have spent many months not making a dime before they finally found success. BUT those non profitable months were crucial to their success. Because they learned a lot. Learned how to test, track, learned from their mistakes. Fine tuned things, etc...

Here is one piece of advice that I can give you. When you are desperate for cash and need money now to pay your mortgage, you will make many bad decisions because you are desperate for cash. Your emotions control your decision making and it usually will lead to certain failure in IM. You end up jumping from idea to idea looking for something that will make you money now. When in fact, you had tried several gold mines that would have given you gold if you spent more time on them testing different ideas to make it work.

When you do find something that makes you $5 a day, then you scale it up and can turn that it several hundred a day.

I'm glad that I started this thread though because it has given me a TON of insight into what I plan on doing with IM and making money altogether. Thank you all.
