I've never gotten any host over 2$ a month because I'm low on cash these days. Host gator just seems too good to leave. I might take upon it.

Depending on what you want to do host gator can be adequate for many things - also be sure to look for a discount code you can save big with them and really bring the price down.

I'm guessing gator has that simple install for word press. Seems like the best blogging stuff out their, besides coding your own website with joomla or etc. I'll do that later. Word Press seems like the best way to learn server administration / web development / seo / im / etc.

To op

If your website is not generating sufficient amount of funds to afford a normal shared hosting account, then you will have to consider free hosting services.

Ive always been pretty happy with hostgator. Used them for the last 6-8 years.

hostgator is great. yes they have a one button wp install

Hostgator is the Best in hosting

Great support,great uptime,websites load faster.

Go get it and do search for a 1 cent code somewhere[I would be glad if you use my affiliate code and PM me if you you need it]

Sounds like your budget is as bad as mine :( - I don't know what your requirements are for bandwidth, etc, but there are some decent free cPanel hosts out there, the trick is finding them.

Here are a couple: (the best of the free ones are sometimes "post to host")

Ah I paid $100 for a year for a server with unlimited subdomains. Works great for what I wanted to do to get started. Add more domains later. 25% off coupon right now, if you sign up, spring deal auto. Pretty dope, I can literally install 10 servers, all different off my main ip. So I could have a main site, then a forum, blog, art website, music, it skills / seo etc. Then I think it's time for another domain, single domain server, no subdomains is $4 a month.

$8.3333 a month. Man my internet bill is $30, iPhone is like $80. Rent is $1,800 but share with a room mate soon. Power is $120 average. BTW commercial power is more expensive then home power, just incase you were ever wondering, since I live in a business.

So $900+80+60+30+8 = $1,078 for base needs outside of food and might quit smoking.

Hostgator is surely a great choice for two simple reasons. The prices which is very low and you get quality services specifically when it comes to customer services which add values. Just go for it without thinking about it more..

I've been in IT, worked in customer support. I was an extremely difficult customer at the start, and they responded fast. Pretty awesome support. They definitely strive on the customer support level. As far as service goes, I know other hosts exist, but it's a good deal and it's fast. Plus I like that they use clean energy, it's wind powered; every server.

Hostgator is pretty cheap and reliable too . Also Justhost is awesome and a bit more cheaper than Hostgator
