Consequences of selling replicas?

The average person does not realize how rampant counterfeiting is much less on an island off the coast of Africa...
In the U.S. people go to prison pretty quick. Judges don't like the word "counterfeit" and "bootleg" and companies usually pursing punishment are backed by pricey but well experienced lawyers. Unfortunately a lot of the rules and laws regarding counterfeits were put in place back in the 30's and 40's when laws were likely more strict to combat the emerging counterfeit and bootlegging operations that started as far back as alcohol prohibition and backed by todays very strict infringement laws.
In China, I knew a person who was accepting bribes from factories until someone sold him out and is now doing a lot of time in prison. In the U.S., I knew someone who actually got arrested for selling copied DVDs on a school campus, and he was made an example of.

The difference between those that get caught and those that dont.. common sense. Use your brain, or big bubba will in prison. Plan for the worst and hope for the best. Make it soo difficult for any member of law enforcement to persue you that it would be unthinkable. Get a VPN, Proxy, on a Public WiFi, etc. Just be paranoid.
To make a long story short, Not everyone gets "busted" and the ones that do, not all of them go to "Prison" just make sure you have lawyer $

I watched a progam last wek whre Microft detectives scour shops in the UK for illegAL COPIES OF wINDOWS ETC... They got big fines.
A shop in London got busted for selling relica football shirts. All stock as burnt and big fines...I mean sellnig from shop in the center of London is about as dumb as you can be
