Ok guys, so I've seen tons of users on the net advertising how they can get anyone tons of Soundcloud plays (usually through bots), Facebook likes (also usually done through bots, but not always), Youtube views, Datpiff hits, Instagram followers, you name it and its possible! However, I have not seen one post about Hype Machine, even on BHW, which is one of the most effective ways for promoting your music.

So to those that don't know, Hype Machine is a blog aggregator that takes the most 'popular' music submissions and brings them all together on one site, Hype Machine. In theory, in order to get your music on Hype Machine you have to submit it to one of their affiliate blogs and pray to the music gods that Hype Machine takes interest. Now, i'm not exactly sure of what the formula is that determines which song gets selected, but if I had to wager I'd bet on something along the lines that it would have to do with how new it is, plus the number of plays, shares, etc etc. I have seen on more than one occasion however, that a track will get charted on Hype Machine and either

    1. Not have all that many plays UNTIL it gets to Hype Machine

    2. Only one website will blog it, then it somehow gets to Hype Machine, and THEN all the rest of the blogs pick it up &

    3. Seen a song that was not on any of their affiliated blogs (for a short time) chart on their website. This artist had a pretty popular song, but he wasn't a household name by and standard.

Now I know there's definitely some people that listen to the music before they put it up, and some of them might handpick the songs directly, but there's so much content on there that changes daily (sometimes hourly) that it would be impossible to hand pick each and every one unless you have a 24 hour team of coffee addicted interns who will gladly do your bidding for free. Also, I've spent a decent amount of time sifting through their blogs, and I gotta say, a good chunk of them are dead blogs that don't even post anything anymore.

So my question to you guys is this...Does anyone know if there is a way to go about conquering hype machine besides the conventional way? I'm sure that all the smart blogger's and developers on this site must know something I don't! There has to be a way to crack it!! :p Is it just impossible to

    I'd appreciate the help!

Dunno if you're still checking this out but I figured I'd weigh in.

The hype machine approved blogs are indeed human run. All it takes to get a song ONTO the hypem charts is to have an approved blog post the track, then the robots will crawl the blog's RSS and grab their recent posts and aggregate onto the site. From there, it relies on the artist/blog network/"New" page on hypem to get the song Hearts to end up on the "Popular" page. You have to reach the popular page if you want to succeed on hypem. The favoriting is where good botting can come in handy :)

Why doesn't someone make a Hype Machine skype group and we can all physically help support each other? Real likes, real people, and no need for scamming the system as I've heard is very strict on the no fake likes.
