I guess weight classes matter lol. Actually Conner should be fighting in Nates division but cuts weight to fight feather weight most people miss this reality. Thats why I'm not the least bit surprised would have been shocked if he won.

In most of his fights, he was pure offense with the basic amount of defense needed because he was so fast. But he couldn't stand in the 170 division with guys like Nicks reach.

He's always had that long fight endurance. Both Diaz brothers are always training, even when they're not in active competition. They're on call, so to speak, and always ready for the call.

He cuts the weight because he has the strength to match it and dominate a division. Which most fighters would do if they could corner a division. He probably walks around at 170, but he's not used to fighting at 170, so fighting someone like Nick threw him way off balance. But I have been a Diaz fan for a long time so seeing him choke out Connor last night, I was a couple of pints in, so I was pretty loud about it.

If I'm honest I kind of enjoyed seeing him lose the fight. He got to big for his boots and talked only about money. If you're going to jump up a weight you need to back your words up, else big fuckers like Nate will bring you crashing down to reality, literally.

So do all the other fighters except they just choose to be at 155 divisions just like Nate but in this fight they both chose to fight at their regular weight which is around 170 and to think he wanted Dos Anjos. I like Nate too but after the beating Nate took from Dos Anjos, I think Conner would have Many other people to worry about in that division. So that is why he cuts and runs to feather weight he knew that division would be a problem for him if not he certainly does now. Conner is no BJ Penn or Randy Couture that won 2 divisions, Unless he's going to fight feather or bantam which would be utterly ridiculous lol.

yup pound for pound throne is out the window. That whole 155 division is stacked with people who can beat him.
