Fair play to Germany, I think they deserved the win.
It was a physical game both ways - a few of those boys took a proper clattering and just got on with it.
Respect to both teams too, they were both playing for the full 90 minutes. End-to-end is always good to watch.

If soccer wasnt in your vocabulary, you wouldnt of understood what I was trying to say . I mentioned soccer because I know the forum has a couple of Americans on board hence calling it soccer would be understood by all. So in a nutshell my post was much more considerate than yours !

It was an awesome game. Argentina was a hard opponent with a strong defensive - their feet were everywhere haha! Both teams fought hard, but you could notice that Argentinian players were losing their energy towards the end, most likely due to the previous game. Anways, I think we've deserved to win the World Cup although the boys were not always using their full potenital.
I was out watching the game with 5.000 other people. I never saw so many people going crazy in my life. Everyone came out of the house, drinking, screaming and dancing. Honking cars filled with more people than clown cars in a circus, the dark sky enlighted by fireworks, black-red-golden flags on everywhere. I'm sure I'll tell my grandchildren of this night

Germany had an easy semifinal against...gasp...Brazil... They basically won the game in the first 30 minutes. Where Argentina had a war with Holland, so you could tell the Argentinians were dead tired towards the end Messi wasn't even moving anymore.

Argentina had more than enough opportunities to equalize, they just had no concerted offense.
I'm happy Germany won, they were my reluctant favorite because I love their players. 7 of their squad plays for Bayern Munich, so if they didn't win, it would have been a huge condemnation of German football. They play so well together because they play together all year round, so they absolutely had to win. It's so cool to think that essentially a club beat national teams for the Cup!
Robben also plays for Bayern Munich. Amazing club.
Dante, the defender that replaced Silva on Brazil also plays for Bayern Munich, and he was an absolute waste during the Germany - Brazil game.

He was, just the germans did such a good job neutralizing him that it looked like he's not even playing
. But after 70 minutes all argentinians looked really tired but they looked pretty much the same on semifinal after 70 mins anyway . The technical part of germans were way better in my eyes in this WC so they deserved to win and did it in a very interesting way. Loved the match and the better one won
