Confusion about NF and DF

This is something always bothering me, Nofollow and ****************. I never put NF tags in my blog, to say the truth I don't even know how. I recently checked my blogs with searchstatus, shows that there are nofollow links. Then I realized those nofollow links are from wordpress plugin I use. What I want to know is if it says nofollow, do my links become worthless to another person I am giving links to? It is not even my own blog, itself, is nofollow but other links in my blog. I am a bit confused here. Can anyone explain? Thank you!

Links that you nofollow do not pass page rank and have no ranking benefit to the linked party.

Wordpress uses the nofollow tag by default, for links left by other people on your blog. Just FYI.
