I am at the conceptualization stage and have come across Content siloing method that helps enhance authority by concentrating the power of related keywords together. As my website would be content heavy and if I follow the Silo approach, it is going to be 4/5 sub-levels deep and (based on what I read). Through the established Siloing literature, I have the following site architecture -
Homepage > Resources (Link Hub) > Topic 1 (Pillar) > Topic1a/b/c/x (Supporting Pages)
So, does this seem reasonable or is the click-depth (>3) too much of a bottleneck for ranking and perhaps I should follow a different approach?
