I am looking into doing guest posts on a particular reputable site. I spoke with the editor, and they charge $200 for a post. But I noticed tons of people on Fiverr selling guest posts on the same exact website for $20 a piece.

How is this possible? Do the fiverr sellers have some kind of deal with the website? How are they selling it for $20 a post when the editor says it costs $200?

Yes most likely. Depends on site to site. Copy that fiverr gig link and ask the editor.
What's goin on?
If you really want to get to the bottom of it.

1. Maybe the editor tried to scare you off bc he prefers working with agencies and not site owners
2. You can't just accept the price you were given without trying to get it down and declare that this is the price.
3. There could be a way to add content to the site not through the editor, but through one of the writers, ask for samples and see who is the author.
