First all, thank you for all the articles on this forum. I have learned alot and thus my question for keyword research and looking for some advise.

So I did a keyword research on a long tail keyword, however many keyword search tools gives different results which is confusing me now.

1. Ahref shows = 0
2. Moz Keyword = has no result for this keyword
3. Google Trends = shows about 70 views for the past few years (i think this is what I should believe)
4. Related Keywords Addon = shows 8,100/mo

I was surprised ahref shows 0 for this since this keyword has been in google trend for the past 5 years. I just do not know what I should believe. All the tools shows different stats, so do we go with google on this, since google is the boss?

Check with Google keyword tool.

Do not bother about third party tools.

Many times they are inaccurate.

I've done several threads over the years about this, this is the more recent one

It is because of every other tool has its own algorithm. So don't depend on any tool, just analyse & think from searcher percepective.

Different tools use different methods and databases. Your results are not uncommon at all. That is why using multiple tools is considered standard practice; they give you a broader perspective.
I’m not even sure how much you will be able to trust even Google on this, given how dysfunctional they’ve been with their recent updates. I guess the best possible piece of advice would be “take a good, long look at everything you have, use your judgment, and if what you’re doing doesn’t work, change it.” Anything else would just be a stab in the dark.

Keyword research is for pussys. Just fo for the keyword to want.

Thanks all, I will continue to do what I think is best based on the search outcome.
