Confused about copyright

Hi,

I am planning to start a new channel. Theme would be songs lyrics.

I would sing the song and lyrics will be snyronised with it.

Now my question is would I get some copyright issue with this. ? I am not using any music . I am just singing the song with lyrics being displayed.

If you are not making money from it, you will probably be okay. Lots of people do cover versions of commercial songs on Youtube with no problems from the copyright holders.
 
I will use adsense with it. I want to monetize the channel as well
 
You will get copyright since the song is not property. There are many who do this but 90% of times they don't enable monetization.
 
You may look up copyright policies here: https://www.youtube.com/music_policies
There are some (but not many) labels that share revenue with you if you do a cover version.
However if you want to make money with AdSense, I would not suggest going with a cover channel.
