Confirming Og email for Instagram account?

So I've got the opportunity to buy a nice instagram account for a reasonable price from a guy on telegram... He's including the Og Email account but how can I check that it is the original? Also, how can I secure the email account (Gmail) so it doesn't get recovered?

He's comfortable in doing a 50 50 split, pay half via PayPal Goods and services and then pay the rest after I receive the account. That's about as safe as I can get right?? Easy to get my money back if I get scammed?

OG email, and OG phone. If you don't have both, anyone with access to one or the other can take it away.
Best method, not always 100% safe, is to use a middle-man.

Instagram setting > history I believe shows you all the previous emails used on the account.

If you login to the email and see a welcome to instagtam message, then it is the OG email.

Settings > Account Data > Download Account Data > Email Address History
