CONFIRMED: iFrame links passing anchor text/PR...

For the longest time Google wasn't giving any love to links used
within iFrames. Recently, there's been some buzz around the
SEO community about iFrames links actually passing anchor
text and PageRank. You can find several tests that were performed
here and here.

Now, that doesn't mean that iFrames are the way to go, but if
you can get creative in the way that you utilize them, there's
no doubt that the BH in all of us can figure out some ways to
utilize iFrames for our benefit.

What are your thoughts?

I thought I'd bump this to see if we can see something going around this topic....

I vaguely remember iFrames getting the axe by the big G after blatant abuse
via link sculpting methods. Anyone care to share those methods if they still
remember them?
