Hey BHW Community!

I have this problem, the phone number is not linked to the account & I have an email linked to the account that I have access to. How do I change the contact info from the phone to the email, I need that fix.

Note: I have the email linked to the account which means I can change password get login links and all of that, The only problem is it shows me this number which is the previous phone number on the acc that’s not even linked anymore.

Note: when I click on get support, I get 2 options: The first one won’t work because IG won’t verify me since it’s my memepage, so I don’t have a photo of my face and the second options just leads to regular instagram FAQ help which does nothing for me. I’m furious about this loophole.

on the emails click secure this account, thats the only trick

if that doesnt work then no you cant get it back

When I click on secure this account on the mails when I try to login it just leads me to the same screen

If you can't retrieve your previous phone number then I'm afraid you can't get ownership of the account.

You have to retrieve your phone number before you can recover your account.

if your insta account was link to facebook you can recover it or access automatically from there but not sure if will pop up the same message because seems that is more like a verification for secuirity so most likely will ask you for the same info again if not try contacting customer service and good luck with the waiting time.
