Heya guys, thanks again for taking your time in reading my thick-as-a-log posts, I used SE Nuke X about 2 weeks ago and havent had ANY backlinks on googles webmaster tools, today I received an email declining my article to one of the submission sites for not including a hyperlink to my site, basically during the article i just stated mywebsite address, but didnt use any actual hyperlink text, will this be a reason why I dont have any backlinks from my project?

Im looking at the SE Nuke X training video thats saying to not use links in the article itself thats whats confusing me if im honest

If your keyword is in the article use this format:


<a href="http://yoursite.com">Your keyword</a>

Just put around 2 links in for your keyword.
 
Learn from this mistake and I am sure you will never ever repeat this mistake in your life. Hyperlink is must.
 
I really appreciate your replies, just to confirm, hyperlinks in a ARTICLE directory submission is ok, the training vid on SE Nuke X says its not, but SOCIAL submissions are ok, im right in saying hyperlinks are fine in both?

You can either put links directly in the article body (Must be lower down the article and not right at the top)

Or you can leave them in the authors resource box like this: http://ezinearticles.com/?Simple-Lawnmower-Maintenance&id=28370

^ That isnt my article. Its just an example of what i mean.

Yep, this is what the training video means also. You are supposed to put the link in the resource box only. There would be no use if you dont have any hyperlink in the article submission anywhere. The reason to never put it in the article is because some places will delete it or decline it, but most will accept it if your article is good quality.
