Configuring ProxyDroid - cannot access Instagram

Hi,

I configured ProxyDroid with some proxies on a rooted phone, however Instagram does not allow me to access my account from the phone. Could you please advise when configuring ProxyDroid which settings I need to use? I just entered proxy/port and switched it on....probably is not enough?

Advertise on BHW
Instagram needs special proxies most of the time. Normal ones won't work. Look for proxy services selling "Instagram proxies" but beware, they cost more.

Thanks! Does this apply only when accessing Instagram via the phone? I ask because when I run FollowLiker using that proxy is runs ok, however I am wondering if it actually uses the proxy at all or IG can see my real IP address even though I have a proxy setup on FollowLiker?

Check and double check that your proxy is configured correctly to be used on FollowLiker. Your device should not affect whether IG allows you to access their site. The same proxy will either work on both or not work on both.

I'm currently having the same issue, so I'm all ears if someone knows what could be wrong or know of some recent updates that could cause this.
 
you should use directly your android phone in settings to add the proxy in order to avoid a lot of hassle with a non-working apk
