Computer Upgrade

I have a HP Pavilion desktop computer that is sadly failing, the specifications are AMD A10-6700 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 3.70 GHz.

I use my computer for designing logos in Photoshop and designing websites. I run alot of browsers at once. I am thinking of upgrading to the HP Pavilion TP01-1010na Desktop Core i7 it has Intel Core i7-10700 (2.9 GHz base frequency, up to 4.8 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology.

I never know if i am getting a good deal as i am not very good with computer specifications. Does anyone know if this would be a good upgrade and was my old computer an okay machine to have bought please? Any advice you can give i would be very thankful for. Thank you for your kindness.

Conclusion - it will be a substantial amount more powerful.

Other things to consider are a decent amount of ram as it sounds like you are multi-tasking - I'd suggest 16GB if you can afford that with your budget.
Also, an NVMe drive will be very beneficial for you as far as performance is concerned.

these days, 16 GB memory + SSD are pre-requisites to getting a new computer

dont worry about the price increase, it will pay for itself in few months from the time you save in doing your work.

You should get a desktop, much better for working with, more performance for your money.
EDIT: Just noticed its a desktop you have. You should go to ebay, and get a custom made one from a decent seller there.

Your CPU is Good, you just need to get SSD(instead of HDD) also get at least 8GB or DDR4( instead of DDR3)

Focus on lots of memory and SSD.

Most CPUs do the job fine these days, don't focus so much on the processor.

Yes, it's a nice upgrade and a decent computer for the price. However, if your current computer has 8 GB RAM or less and a mechanical HDD, try increasing the RAM to 16 GB and replace the HDD with a SSD. Your computer will be twice as fast. Also don't forget to format it once every few years if it gets slow.

Amazing, plus i feel for the processor u should stick with AMD and not switch to intel back (personal opinion)
