Computer Hardware + Dropshipping, Affiliate or anything ?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone here has tried any affiliate programs related with Computer Hardware ? Or has anyone tried dropshiping items in that niche ?

I searched this forum but I dont seem to be finding too many people in this niche which makes me kinda skeptical. Are there any potholes ?

Drop shipping works best on impulse purchases, and computer hardware really doesn't fall into that category.

The kind of people who would shop for PC parts focus on the retailer's reputation and warranty/RMA service, and newly established drop-shippers generally have neither. Also, if you're going to sell genuine brands rather than questionably-sourced knockoffs, the profit margins are virtually nonexistent.

If you have a supplier already, you'll probably have the best results with offline local selling. And if you don't yet have a supplier, I'd recommend refocusing to the more traditional impulse products.
