I spoke with a good friend of mine. He work over at the big G. He is not in any way one of their executives or something but we still tend to avoid talking work when we see each other due to obvious reasons.
However.. we met yesterday and he told me something rather funny before we went our separate ways. He said.. Jacob, when you create your websites, do not forget about the handicapped.
The only thing I can read in to that line is that Google will (or already do) give trust to a website which comply with the guidelines in section 508, i.e. provide a certain level of accessibility.
When you think about it, it actually make sense since almost only larger corporations and government websites care about these things.
Hence.. this can be good to remember when you are building authority sites, no matter what field you are in.
Below you find a link with more information on how to make sure your website comply to these guidelines.
