My site has been stuck on #13 for 3 weeks, for my keyword which return 2M from G.

I bought forum profiles, ping the profiles for many times. I cannot get the un-indexed profiles to index no matter what i do.

I bought 500 blogs which so far shows 30 indexed after 3 weeks.

I have been posting to hubpages and other high-PR blog sites, most of those blogs are indexed.

I have submited RSS feeds, and I have book marked on about 15 main bookmarking sites.

I also have been adding new articles and i get about 20 indexed pages on my site. I also create a facebook page which is also linked to a twitter account. I have been trying to update at least once a day.

I am running out of patience and methods.

What Can I do to push it to the 1st page? somebody help please?

One suggestion... is analyze #6 - #10 on Google and find out what sites are linking to them. Try to get the same links to your site..

Other suggestion.... wait. It can take time to move up... SEO is not an over night thing.

It's coming up 30 days now since I go live.
#8 and #6 do not even have contents. 1 -5 articles only.
Both of their link counts are smaller than mine.
This would supposedly look like a no brainer!
#6 site is 5 months old.

well what is the keyword my friend...

alot of things go into SERP rankings.

Domain age and authority are a few

just because you built some backlinks does not guarentee rankings

maybe your website is not properly optimized....whats the website?

You aren't getting enough powerful backlinks. All of those methods you posted for generating backlinks focus more on lower quality but can achieve rankings if you have enough. You need some high pagerank blog comments or purchase text links on some authoritative sites.

what is the best/easy way to work out who is linking to your competitors?

Easiest way for me is Scrapebox. I use the Link Extractor add on to find who they have linked to on their site and I you can use the Backlink Checker to get their backlinks. However, with the Backlink Checker you are limited to the number of results it will return because of Yahoo's limitations.

If you find someone with massive backlink numbers, you can add link: to the front of their url, add it to the keyword box and scrape for their links.

Totally agree, that should move it on up!

I have used yahoo siteexplorer to get their backlinks.
and use multi PR checker to sort out the high PR sites and manually added links.
IT took me 1-2 hours just to do that!
I wonder how many hours would it take for me to see the results of this effort..?

the other way i found to check backlinks is to use intext: on google, since link: almost always 90% under estimate.

btw, is there a way to mass check indexed URLs? if not, i might have to create a site with php code just to do that. i wonder if people will find that useful..

It's been yet another 7 days. I have tried some of the suggestions here. I added some 10+ links that show up in site explorer. I have seen no improvement at all.

Last night I decided to take a look at the #1 and #2 (which are the same site). I am so surprised to see whats in the site explorer: the #1 site has hundreds of directory listings. Those directories all have pretty good PR, with quite a few 7's.

So I tried to do the same thing until I found out that almost ALL of those directories are PAID submissions! They are averaging like $40 and some are in the hundreds! WTF!

I only looked at the 1st 30 of their directories, and it's already up to perhaps $1000 or more in investment!!

I never knew directory submission works so well, AND they are so expensive!

Now i wonder what my chances are of beating them? How else other than paying for directories?

its not going to take 30 days to move it will take more, no matter what the keyword is, all that is ture is it will move and will not be over night, $40 per link is pretty cheap, i sometimes pay $300+ for a good link it all depends on what your goals are..

do you plan on making over $1000 after if page 1 if so its a no brainer
