Competitors websites are ranking not mine :( ? Why?

Why my competitor with 3 Backlinks are ranking on first page and on the other hand my website with 100+ backlinks are not even ranking. What's the issue.?

Quality is also important. Only number of backlinks is no guarantee of higher ranking.
 
Ranking not only depends on backlinks. It depends on a lot of factors like a content, website authority, on-page seo, website speed, and much more. building too many links for a page is also a negative sign.

Its not only about the number of backlinks but the quality of backlinks along with other factors, if you can share your website, can review and suggest you more on this (the prob) - no hurries, your choice.

This, and even his backlinks might even be poor quality backlinks.

For one to directly compare 100 links to 3 links says a lot.

Might be that the links they all have absolutely has nothing to do with their ranks.
 
EEAT is Major Factory of Ranking + Site Speed responsiveness and Many Other factors not just Link

What type of links did you made? How old is the website?
 
Ranking depends on various other factors beside backlinks.
And the quality, niche relevance are important factors when building links.

It depends on the quality of articles you were using, check the keywords based on search volume and try to create own article to share them on social media to gain organic traffic.
 
How old is your domain? Have you done keyword research? Many more factors to it than just the backlinks.

Unfortunately, with knowing your website or checking your competition, its impossible to guess the problem. Are you competitor exprienced enough to hide their pbn? is it a hard niche? What is authority of your competitors ?

Consider SEO, and social visibilities same way you are focusing on backlinks
 
Spy on your competitors, improve the quality than theirs.

3 backlinks + 300 hidden links is most likely the case
