Competitor Site Ranked Higher?

Hey I was searching for a keyword that matches our company 100% and found a different provider listed on page 1 of Google. After checking his website with Moz and other tools I don't understand why he ranks on page 1 with less links/rank. Besides that he also has an App that has only 10-100 downloads with ours having 5.000.

Can someone explain to me why Google ranks sites higher even though it seems that they have a lower value in terms of traffic?

They might be using Hidden PBN Links which are blocked for crawlers like Majestic & MOZ.

The biggest problem here is, there is no way you can get the full backlink profile he is using.

"lower value in terms of traffic" doesn't matter. It could be many different things. Are you both ranking for root domains or internal pages? If it's internal pages, his domain might be stronger overall. Again, it's hard to tell, but you can probably surpass him with some very basic SEO.

They have More Quality Content & Highly OnPage SEO Optimized Site. They Also having Good PBN Links, this links are hidden from SEO Tools.
That's why you are not seeing their actual links profile.
