Competitor Ranking for Brand Name

A competitor is using my trading name (not trademarked) to rank on page 1 just below my money site. What can I do about this? They use the trading name and a few keywords so the combination of trading name plus keyword has them just under my money site on page 1.
Any suggestions to push them down?

If you have no legal recourse, you will probably only have the option of building sites and ranking them up to push him down in the rankings.

Thanks for tip... Some more info: my brand name is not in the URL so i have registered the brand url (also a keyword competitor is optimizing for) i guess pushing up this domain would held as the brand name is low competition?
