Competitor has weird long tail keywords tool?

I am using Semrush to do some spying on some competition. I am checking there long tail keywords for their blog.

For 1 blog post the site is ranking 37 long tail keywords at rank 1 and another 160 all over the place.

The 37 long tail keywords that are ranking #1 make sense related to the article. (it's about silver facts)

The other 160 long tail keywords make no sense. Things like "short interesting facts" "funny interesting facts about yourself" "random facts kids"

Are they using a tool to generate "similar" long tail keywords? What is going on here?

Yeah, they probably scraped a list of suggested keywords and are spamming, nothing new, most tools or spam blats can do it.
