So a competitor that has not been active for 2 years has just started up again, and they are now 'welcoming' new members into their Facebook group 3 x a day, with around 12 members each time. I checked their FB page and it says no ads are running, I'm just wondering what I'm missing here - how can they be suddenly getting that kind of traction having had a dead group for around 2 years first?

It might possibly group posting exchanges, or some members are inviting their friends to the group.

Ads are not the only way to get members, there is at least 20 more ways to do it, that will result even better than ads.

There are many ways to increase the number of members participating. But with such a large number of participants, I think it's not good

Apart from posting in other groups, what else could I do?
