Hello Guys.

I need to know when we are analysing our competitors backlinks. are we analysing competitor domain backlinks or competitior page which is apperaring google top result ?

You need to look at both but important one is their pages because it will learn something to you.
Because how their content looks like and know their methods how to attract visitors.
So analyse those sites with profitable way.

Why not do them all. I imagine links built to the main domain all silo down to the inner pages in some cases, especially if they purposely built the site that way. Get a list of all their backlinks from main domain to single pages and copy them all.

competitor backlinks page. Look at how many referring domains and what type of links they are.

Anaylyze both. Some pages don't have any backlinks but the power of the root domain gets it to page one.

Just pull a report on SemRush or Majestic. It gives you a ton of insight.
