Competitive niche

Do you think the chances of being found using a pbn are reduced when for example you have 1200 legit backlinks and use 100 pbn links. (also bots blocked)

The reason I ask is because I have an established site with a strong backlink profile with over 1000 legit backlinks. However it's in a very competitive niche. I am wondering if it will be more difficult for competitors to notice my pbn links when only10% of my backlinks are BH.

The more diverse your link profile the less likely they will catch the PBN, unless your top authority links are all from your PBN then it might stand out.

If its a competitive niche then everybody there probably uses paid links. Rank... then worry about if you're safe.

If being safe means you cant rank then being safe is worthless, isn't it?

lol I see what you mean thophayt ...... although in my case it's not worthless. I can focus on other sources of traffic.

It's the kind of niche where the competition are probably using buffers or really legit looking BH links and would probably report you IF they see the links and that is the last thing I need.

I am weighting up the benefit vs the risk.

Then use buffers. If its that profitable of a niche go buy a handful of $50-$300 links and use them as your buffer.

Only problem is how do you beat sites that already rank above you using their SAME tactics. May take you a long time like that.
