I have created an account and slide show. Uploaded and all links seem to be no-follow. I went and checked the competitions backlink. Still all links are no-follow. any ideas?

No they are not. But it still shows up in Alexa, that's why I do not get it.

yep, no follow is just an attribute.. not all engines use it...

yeah the no follow links can't give you advantage as do follow do...
