So I am a bit lost hence turning to you guys if you have experienced the same thing before when comparing referring domains found in GSC to the referring domains found in Bing and doing an intersect, I then discovered when doing the comparison to see how many of the links picked up in GSC are also picked up in Bing Webmaster tools (I was doing this to check for PBNs as Bing crawler sometimes isnt blocked) and then I compared the two lists and noticed literally twice as many links in the GSC report and even more curiously none of the links in Bing and GSC are the same???

Why would that be, anyone seen that before? And if its normal what conclusions am I supposed to draw from this? Are the links Bing picks up disregarded by Google in their rankings?

Thanks

They do have their own indexes and spiders, wich work different as well..
Bing does a more aggreessive approach on new sites and tends to recrawl the same url less. Why google likes sites, it allready has indexed and spared it's time with non-relevant, non-linked urls to crawl. Guess, the reason is simply, that google and bing did crawl other stuff.
I wouldn't block bing crawlers, though - bing index makes about 10-20% of traffic. A lot of people don't get, that not only bing traffic is from bing index, but yahoo, duckduckgo, ecosia, etc...
Not to build authority there, might make you loose a bunch of traffic.

The fact that both of their sample set are different is concerning. At least, there should be two or three intersect?
