As of now I have all the necessary resources including and human work force to run a construction company, I have quite a few clients. However I want to open myself up to a MUCH greater audience which will bring more customers thus more profit. I don't know where to go from here? I was thinking maybe build a website and buy a Local SEO service to rank me on page 1 so then hopefully that will be more website visits and then more clients contacting me. I need advice to make my company WAY more profitable.

#1 - Start building up your database of clients using CRM software --> this will hold all of your customer information and allow you to maintain a long-term relationship with each of your potential & past clients by giving you a means of marketing to them though email.

#2 - Map out a foot-in-the door advertising strategy. What can you offer people for their email addresses... a free quote, a discount on your service?

#3 - Invest in a very simple but high converting website design (keeping basic On-Page SEO in mind).

The ROI on SEO is slow 6-12 months with a new website so this is why I recommend starting with paid advertising as this will bring you immediate cash flow that you can funnel back into SEO efforts.

#4 - Invest in Paid Advertising through FB and Adwords PPC-Calls. Pay for a software such as ClickFunnels to make landing pages for your 'optins' and connect these to an email autoresponder as well as your CRM.

Basic FB Advertising Strategy: 3 Levels of Ads

I'll use roofing services as an example for this but can be applied to any service type.
Level 1: Awareness - Blog Post - 5 Common Problems With Your Roof Homeowners Often Overlook - posted on your website's blog
Level 2: Interest - Opt-in (ebook?) - Guide to Buying A New Roof - Get the Most Bang for Your Buck - This would be a landing page with an email opt-in.
Level 3: Action - Discount? Free Quote? - Landing Page on your website that gives visitors an opportunity to fill out a form/call you for a free quote OR a discount & or whatever else works.

Level 1 is meant to appeal to people who may need your services. Level 2 you can RE-TARGET (look up what that is) all the people who interacted with your first add and went to your website to narrow the audience down to people who have the need AND also are looking to fix it by hiring a roofer. Level 3 is going for the kill and once again will RE-TARGET and be pushed on people who opted in to your email list.

Cheers,
Ryan

Wow yeah this is a lot, thank you for all of this, I'll be sure to put some of it into action as some parts are way to gritty and technical!

Secondly I have an issue with believing that people would trust a facebook ad for a roof etc. And what is the point of sending continuous emails marketing yourself to the same people who have already bought from you. I highly doubt a customer would buy a construction project from you repeatedly, maybe annually.

What would you suggest I do?

Another question for who ever... Would local seo and social media accounts + boosting them be enough to bring more customers?

There are other aspects of Marketing involved here.
They are main frame.
This will go in this pattern.
Money site=}Landing pages=}On page SEO on all=}Off page SEO on all but manual and carefull chosen campaign.

My approach would be utilizing various "local business" lead funnels with a common message and brand strategy.

Most local businesses really do not get it and that makes ranking in the search engines very doable.

The common message and branding can turn cold introductions into very warm sales calls/meetings.

Again its...

(1) Local Search Optimization
(2) Web Development
(3) Social Signals Development
(4) Direct Mail Campaigns (Local)
(5) Email Follow-Up

You would be surprised how affordable your cost per lead becomes and conversions (if the offer is solid) can be great!

Yeah. Don't go for enormous traffic - just make sure, it converts with the maximum ROI.

For sure your online presence is MUST as website and social media accounts to spread word about your company, I have had a lot of success ranking videos for local business and creating leads.
