ATT by far. Long story short they keep promising our bill won't exceed $170 per month for cable/internet. It keeps ballooning to over $200 and going up month by month for literally no reason. We have promises in writing, recorded and so on and it keeps happening. Because of the area we live in there are only two options and we had issues with the other company's bad internet. Each time it happens we have to go through a whole long BS process where they say they can't fix it we say were cancelling they let us talk with a customer retention specialist we show them all this proof of the last time they promised us this stuff and they magically fix the issue for another month or two.

DMV is the worst. IRS is up there. Typical government employees.

My cable company rapes me for $250/month but that's because I have all pay stations. Their internet sucks major donkey balls and because they are small, no competitors are allowed to come here except AT&T and that's DSL.

I'm going to have to go with eBay. I've been promised the world over there

I've done tests where I've written a script down, called them, read off the script, and asked them a (scripted) question
I've then called back up to seven times and got EIGHT different answers. The question was "when is my account eligible for a selling limit upgrade"

Nowadays I grab the customer support members name and the call reference number because my trust in what they tell me is past blown

Yep. That's just Internet and cable TV. We have no options either. Cable or really slow ass DSL from AT&T (not even 1Mb download. It's 756k I think). The laws here don't allow competitors like Comcast to compete when there is a small local cable company. Probably should have checked that before I moved here but I had no idea about the laws. I just thought I could shop around.

I worked at a large international delivery company via an external agency. There was a misunderstanding between the agency and the delivery company about me needed at the delivery company to work.

The delivery company asked me to work a couple of extra days after my agency told me to stop working at the delivery company.

Later I discovered that I wasn't going to get paid for 6 days work.

When I tried to negotiate my pay with my agency and the delivery company, both of them neatly said fuck off.

So they had to be sued via ACAS in the UK.

We finally settled in my missing payments.

    Fucking assholes.

I've lived all over the country and used probably all of the top 5 providers in the US and every single major cable and internet is just absolutely horrible. They all lie to you on the phone/e-mails and they always try to screw you on bills (not to mention waiting days any time you have a technical issue). If someone could come in and compete at the same price with a 'customer is always right' philosophy they would dominate as I'm far from the only one with these experiences.

I'm waiting for an awesome Internet provider because I will bail on my so fast.

I had an issue last year with my provider. I work from home, so I need Internet. Every day at 10am the Internet would go out. It would go out for 2-3 hours. I waited a week and decided to call them. I tell them that I realize maintenance must be happening, and I understand but could I please get an ETA when my Internet would stop going out every morning. Guy tells me that there is no maintenance and it must be me and he can send a tech for a charge. I tell him "The internet goes out at 10am every day without fail on the dot. How is this me?" I tell him nevermind. For a month straight my internet went out every day.

I wound up getting backup DSL. That was my only option or have some tech come out and charge me $80 to tell me something is wrong and it's not me. I hate fucking cable companies.

    Instagram.

Contacted them for a client who had 1m+ followers and their account was hacked, everything deleted, and name/password changed. Nobody would do anything, even after proper documentation and proof was submitted FOUR times.

There is no way to contact a real person outside their form or emailing Dan Toffey himself, who I'm sure was not too happy with the barrage. The issue was never resolved, and my client ended up having to hire a Russian hacker to re-hack the account. By this time, my client had lost 400,000 followers, and I had to archive their images/videos from one of these parasite Instagram websites.

    Not impressed.

sarraf.com - Called twice on different days at different times to see if I could get a different customer service rep and it was the same guy. Asked him a simple question about the difference between two pieces as it wasn't clear on the site and he talked to me like I was a moron. Didn't say "bye" or "have a nice day" after I had done so; simply hung up the phone. That is one of my biggest pet peeves especially for customer service representatives.

Key Bank - Never had a problem with their debit card/regular account division but if you call their credit card division to report fraudulent charges they talk to you like you're a dumbass. Downright miserable staff over there.

Sprint - It's IMPOSSIBLE to get connected to someone who speaks English. The foreign reps are polite and helpful but you have to ask "what?" like 10 times throughout the conversation so they can repeat what they just said which is a huge time waster.
