There are now 3 types of things you can create on Facebook.

-Official Page
-Community Page
-Group

Lets talk about the new "Community Page". What is up with that?

Info on Community Page:

"Generate support for your favorite cause or topic by creating a Community Page. If it becomes very popular (attracting thousands of fans), it will be adopted and maintained by the Facebook community."

Does that mean that Facebook will manage the page if it gets popular?

I think it means it will become like wikipedia maybe? People can edit things, i'm not sure though. Could mean anything, since we are the "facebook community" aren't we?

if facebook starts to edit or anyone can

in other words it will be adopted by them or by people with prior approval from them, its black on white, not to much to interpret, since its an unofficial page similar to a group it shouldn`t belong to one person in which case its the other option to create a page
