Common Social Media Strategy Mistakes

On my opinion the biggest mistake is to rely on social network. It owns traffic, audience and money that should be YOURS. I am looking at social networks like at a bridge that leads fans to my source, so they will be hanging out at my page, not at Facebook. That makes me independent from facebook newsfeed algorithm changes, blocks and policy. You must own your stuff.
