Common sense tip for avoiding copyright strikes (beginner stuff)

Just thought I would give back a little for all the info I've read here (thanks all!) and give a basic tip/idea I found.

You CAN build up a huge channel with a tons of videos without having to worry about copyright strikes and you will have very little chance of ever getting banned via 3 copyright strikes. It's easy.

About 30-40% of what you upload that is copyrighted will probably be detected via fingerprinting. Simply leave ONLY these videos up which are detected via fingerprinting on your main account and put all the others on the other usual high risk accounts instead. Make sure to hit "Acknowledge". From what I understand you'll never get a copyright strike because the rights holder specifically authorized it.

But if your videos violate the TOS in another way then of course you can still lose them and the account easily. Also obviously if they show their ads instead you can't monetize using pre-rolls and other stuff. You have to find other ways to monetize.

What's the advantage you ask? Well in theory you can build a massive channel with thousands of videos this way with minimal risk and many subscribers as opposed to only uploading channels/accounts with 5-50 videos and being limited.

Ok what he is saying on youtube create many throw away accounts for the main account, the monetizing account. This way you only have to set up your website or what ever other way you make money once.

Downside you have to set up many, many accounts the same amount as the traditional way. Saves time and effort thou.
You have to add links through the description or captions to get the users to go to the main account.

1. Upload copyrighted content.
2. Does it get detected as 3rd party (copyrighted) content by the Youtube fingerprinting?
a. If YES, hit acknowledge and KEEP it on the channel.
b. If NO, delete it and move it to a high risk account instead (with other countermeasures such as only 5 videos per account).

From what I understand you don't get strikes when the content is detected as copyrighted by the fingerprinting and the owner chooses to allow it. Of course you need to monetize in other ways if it uses their adsense.

By being virtually being immune to copyrights you can build a huge channel with many subscribers and it could stay up for years. You do not have to worry about suddenly getting hit with copyright strikes. A 5,000 video account with 10,000 subscribers is possible all with copyrighted content.

The idea is more to build one main account with "safe" videos which are copyrighted but immune to receiving copyright strikes. Normally if you upload 1,000 copyrighted videos you're almost guaranteed to lose the account soon due to copyright strikes. But with this method I don't think you will. You can build a very large account using only fingerprinting positive videos. You can build massive subscribers and receive that benefit in ranking.

With the videos which aren't detected using fingerprinting you would just put those on all your smaller accounts instead as normal.

This is for people who use certain methods with copyrighted content. It's not so much for people using adsense, ppd, fake files and all that.

A strike can be issued by YT at any point in time, for a video, not necessarily right after the upload. So this principle falls.

Will they give you a strike though after it was detected by fingerprinting and the content owner has chosen to allow it and to run their own ads? My understanding is "no". The content owner authorized it in advance so you're safe. I could be wrong.

Remember the content owner can chose to automatically block it worldwide. That's what usually happens with Fox content anyway. f they don't it implies that they chose to allow it.
