Getting a bunch of comments [removed] , wondering if my account will eventually be suspended or do these not count against suspension?

getting comments removed doesn't automatically lead to suspension, but it depends on why they're getting removed. if it's just automod catching you for low karma or new account restrictions, those usually don't count against you.

but if mods are manually removing your stuff for rule violations, that's different. some subreddits will report repeat offenders to reddit admins, especially if you're getting removed for spam, harassment, or breaking site-wide rules.

check your messages to see if you're getting any warnings from mods or admin. if it's just "comment removed" with no explanation, it's probably automated. if you're getting actual warnings or temp bans from subreddits, then yeah you might be building up strikes.

also look at what you're posting - are you dropping links too much, posting the same content across multiple subs, or getting caught by keyword filters? reddit's really touchy about anything that looks like self-promotion or spam these days.

worst case, diversify your posting and engage more naturally with communities before dropping any promotional content. better to have one solid account than keep burning through new ones.

If your comments are just getting auto-removed (e.g. by filters or mods) but not triggering strikes, they usually don’t count directly toward account suspension — what matters more is if mods/admins escalate it into warnings, temp-bans, or a “spam” tag on your profile.

If you violate the same error multiple times or in a short period of time, the penalty will be more severe. At a certain limit, it can lead to a ban/deleted account.
Depending on the violation and the number of violations, you will be limited and noticed for a certain period of time. I remember that BHW's rules have this content.
Every time a comment is deleted due to violating a rule, BHW will send you a warning message. Or you can contact Support for specific answers.

Reddit mods or the auto-filter deleted your comment, it’s not Reddit itself is punishing you. That doesn’t directly lead to suspension unless you’re repeatedly breaking sitewide rules.

From what I’ve seen removed comments don’t necessarily mean your account is in danger. Usually, it just means the mods or reddit auto-moderation took them down

I’ve had accounts with 100+ removals still alive years later.
