Commenting shop ( AwexSolutions) scammed for $150

    I ordered a site from Awex Solutions from his BST for $150 and now it has been over 2 months and I got nothing. In the initial period everything was fine and he showed me the psds but after that he just gave me excuses about the coding area ( holidays, developer is ill, office is closed)

    I contacted him several times on skype but at last he told me that he will issue a full refund within 48 hrs but as usual he is not responding to me.

    Just want to add to this as I made a thread a couple months back but was taken down due to promises of refund. Awex has only refunded me 140 dollars of the 800 owed so far and hasn't replied to me in 11 days. From our original agreement he should have already paid me 400 so far, with it being 600 in a couple of weeks.

    Now he agreed to refund full amount within 48 hrs. He said is out of station but serious don't know what he is trying to do.

    I have posted my message in the web design thread about awex services. Not happy about their delays, service and now not even replying.
    He deserves to be here in the shitlist because he takes money and does not provide what was promised in exchange.

    sneha: glad you got your refund, long time coming but at least he is making good your payment.

    Thanks for opening this shit list Sneha and Old Salt.

    Same as sneha i ordered web design service from Awex solution on September 18, 2014. He said he will deliver it within 5 to 7 business days but more than a month passed, still the design is not completed. Every time when i ask for the work he telling it will be completed by next day but he never did. All these days what he did was installed a template and create 5 pages with dummy content. I am totally disappointed with him. I have asked full refund of my payment $180 from then he stopped replying my skype messages. Hope he will respond here and refund my money. I am ready to show my skype screenshots to Old Salt if he needs that.

    Just like the others on this thread I have been scammed for $170 by commenting shop. Ordered a WP theme on Sept8th. Its been a little less than 2 months now and all I've gotten from him is excuses. I have asked for a refund multiple times on Skype but he seems to be unresponsive.

    I temp banned Commenting Shop for 7 days a bit over 2 days ago - for failure to get involved in the SL. He was aware of it and even told me he'd respond to it 'when he got home that day' - 3 days before I temp banned him.

    When the temp ban expires, he will have 48 hours to get in here and get serious about the issues - or I will ban him again... permanently.

    Good to see he was temp banned - he still owes me several hundred dollars and has replied once in about 2 weeks. Hopefully the banning will make him sort his shit out.

    I merged rayazar957's post into this SL against Commenting Shop (Awex Solutions). His temp ban expired this morning and considering that he hasn't responding to me via skype since days before I temp banned him and the number of people that have joined this thread, I would be shocked if he returns to face the issues.

    I would also be very happy to be proven wrong - he has 48 hours to come back, post in this thread and state his plan to resolve the issues.

    Failure to do that will result in him being perma-banned.

    I ordered webdesign services from Awex as well, paid him $150 on 10/21/14 and was told I'd have a mock up design within four days. Here we are 9 business days later and Ive received nothing. When I asked where the design was at on the 27th, he told me it would be completed in a few days. Now I get no response; guess I'm filing a paypal dispute from the looks of it.

    Dear BHW Service Buyer-Members,

    I wish to humbly add my views that if you, as buyers and also the potential buyers, don't receive the promised service on the promised delivery date, or even if you get some bad service after paing advance fees to the seller, then within for example 7 or 14 days (as early as possible) after the promised but unfulfilled delivery date, first send a stern/strict 'final' notice to the service provider that a Shitlist will be opened within 2 more days for non-delivery / non-compliance of the contract, or for receiving a deficient service, or whatever is the nature of non-compliance of proper service being rendered to you as a buyer.

    If the provider still doesn't deliver, or doesn't respond positively for whatever reasons, then open a related Shitlist thread immediately after that final notice period of 2 days. This will not only put the possible 'scammer' in spot light on BHW, and put him in to a sane-thinking mode, it will also prevent other buyer-members from possibly getting scammed, may be behind the scenes (unknown to them that they could be still getting a really bad service or are getting into a possible scam) because there is no Shitlist or an alert in the seller's name.

    This Shitlist thread will alert everyone who is also using the possibly scam-intended service, and who may have paid a fees and are still awaiting the completion of their project, or who may be thinking of availing the said service.

    Only the Moderator can then close and remove the Shitlist thread if everything reverts back to normal at the earliest, and as per the Moderator's sole judgement. This will help prevent a scammer to scam multiple members at the same time.

    Important:

    Not all BHW services that lag behind a due date have a 'scammer' operating it, but anyway, if he does not provide the service within a given period of time for whatever reasons and doesn't give proper reasons to ALL the buyers then there is a reason to suspect that the buyers would definitely have a reason to worry about the lost time and money.

    Another Shitlist can be opened simultaneously or any following day by the now-alerted buyers, even after a previous Shitlist thread has been removed. This will keep the sellers on their toes and compel them to deliver what they promise, or get Shitlisted with a possible ban or loss of reputition or/and a closing of his BST sales thread.

    I think that the above measures will deter/discourage most of possible scams from happening in future, and will also prevent a scammer to scam more victims simultaneously.

    Important:

    So with the above measures, even the well-intended and honest seller might unfortunately get into a Shitlist because of a non-compliance of service clause, including the deliever date not honored by him/her as a seller, but within just 3-4 days after the Shitlist is opened, he/she can take prompt measures to fulfill the contract and to fulfill their obligations, and on doing that the Moderator will of course close and remove the Shitlist thread and thus you can continue with selling your services with added responsibility and added reputation as a proven responsible and honest seller. There would of course be a good reason to have a proper projects planning on the part of all sellers to honor the contract and the promised delivery dates.

    It is only against the possible scammers/sellers that, through this post, I wish to have a more powerful deterrent before he/she does more damage to our actual and potential buyer-members.

    P.S.:
    In this case, the OP unfortunately waitied for a long time before taking this action, AND the other members who got scammed and who didn't open a shitlist alert, possibly gave this gave the scammer sufficient time to scam more members in that period and then run away with more funds, and cause so much damage to the reputation of our BST section... A faster action (opening this shitlist thread) would/could possibly have averted so many from getting scammed. Hard words these sadly, and I apologize, but they are very important in this context, I guess...

    I still have heard nothing from the seller. Just escalated PayPal to "claim" status. Keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get my refund.
