Commenting on website

Commenting on the websites is so crucial to promote traffic and website ranking on the search engines. So hunt positive comments to boost your website.

I am asking if people commenting on my website is good for me or not as they look mostly like spam with links in them. I think you misunderstood me.

No its not good for you. In fact leaving your comments open like that will attract the spam bots. You can use commenting systems like FB comments or disquss or something similar to help avoid your site getting hammered by bots.

Hi

Accept genuine comments only. There are so spammers who just flood your post with spammy comments. Dont ever approve it. I would suggest you to add akismet plugin. This will filter your spammy comments.

All the best !!

Thanks

Personally I had my comments open for some time but it took a lot of time to moderate all spammers trying to promote their sites.

Nowadays I moderate all comments and publish only ones that are merit.

I also noticed that comments on blogs that have Fb comments or Disquss has much better quality than other systems.

So you have 3 ways: total moderating, Disquss or Fb coments or a filter plugin.

Choose the one which works the best for you.

i think if you have a blog its good to have comments but akismet is an essential with a website it may help discuss i never had much luck or Facebook. Make sure the comments are from people as well.

I agree with momba12. It is not good for your website because they are just spammy comments that could hurt your site. I do suggest adding Akismet plugin and select and approve only comments that are genuine.

If you blast out 200.000 comments it'll be certain suicide. But some links on comment forms could be good to diversify your link sources, especially if you're planning on buying more powerful links. Diversity is the key.

I agree with the guys above. They are not even a comments, they are mostly spam.
So if you don't want to filter comments manually, use Akismet. But it costs 50$ per month. So my advice is try to put CAPTCHA instead. Its free good filter for guanine comments.

Not good. They are looking to back link their website on yours. I would either delete them or edit them and take out the link. After a while you can easily figure out which ones are spamming and which ones are real. You'll see the same comments repeated sometimes from different accounts. I also suggest Akismet to block out spam comments.
