I was wondering if anyone ever used Scrapebox (If it's still around), Blog posters or auto forum posters to promote and sell online retail products? Was thinking of giving it a go or would it be a waste of time?

retail products? Ive had lousy success, same for affiliate. But if you have your own really good products, it can make money. I mean it can make money for retail and affiliate too, especially perhaps if well used. Like you might do well on retail a Christmas time and a flower affiliate at Valentines Day etc... but you just have to be prepared to deal with complaints and have an offer or company your promoting that is good with complaints, else they will kick you out.

I have been kicked out of programs more often then not if they were not aware of how I was marketing it, lol.

I sell Print on Deman items and I'm getting really sick of Facebook marketing, it's become oversaturated and too high cost to turn a profit on t-shirts. I was thinking if I spam relevant blogs / forums / etc.. with niche products that I've created, it could drive more traffic and decrease my ad spend.

maybe. I sell amazon merch and I tried it for amazon merch POD and I sold some shirts, but not enough for it to be worth my time. I was planning to try it again at Christmas time, if I have time.

Try it and see and if it works pm me and tell me so I can jump on the band wagon, lol

I still use it and still works. Just depends on the industry I suppose

Yeah. I mean I crush it on B2B, but just not B2C. But yeah depends on industry and time of year.

You'll need to generate high volume of successful posted comments for this to work. Also without the proper filters for good targeting you may spend the time in vain. However, scrapebox is a must have tool for scraping. It can help in seo indirectly, though I would not use it to directly generate sales, unless you come up with a very unique method which avoid laying comments next to most spammers.
