Hey folks,

I am using a new trick, but I don't know if it works.
When commenting on wordpress blogs with my name as anchortext
and then using the homepage think to insert your site.

When you just post a clean comment like: "thanks for the great article,
keep up the good work ;)"

When I post it, it wills how up like: Anchorttext is saying:
The Anchortext is linked to my site. Will this count as a backlink?

For example: Name = I Love Viagra
I Love Viagra is linked to my homepage in the sence of: I Love Viagra is saying:

May this work or won't it count as a backlink?
I don't see why not :P

sounds like spamming... but yes a **************** blog counts as a backlink

That's what most everyone else does. Yes, it's a backlink (though usually nofollow). With that being said, leaving comments in that manner (generic responses with keywords as your name) have a very low approval rate by blog admins.

when i see viagra comments on my tech related wp site, i just hit the big fat spam button and delete, and this is nothing new. Sorry to break your heart

Here is a mutch better comment you can live on blogs, and allways get approved:

"Your RSS feed doesn't work in my browser (google chrome) how can I fix it?"

I've got this tip in a email.

Neat idea..but then they respond to you and expect you to respond back? If you dont do they delete your comment?

I would use those techniques just as mentioned above and then just add one comment that sure they identify you as a person who read their blog.

Also, just fyi, if a commenter adds a well written paragraph that helps out my conetent I always let them get their little backlink. It is kinda like, you help me and ill help you.

It will be like throwing sh!t at a wall and seeing what sticks.

You could end up losing many of the links that you create. May as well do an xrumer spammy blast and see what happens :)

Plus many blogs will set up to auto-block works like viagra...i wonder why? ;)

WP comments are not worth it.

1.- no follow
2- Askimet usually catches these links

You would have to do tons of comments and hope that a few of them stick. But most of the ones that will stick are the ones from old, unused blogs that already have hundreds of spam links on them so google won't really give much importance to it.

Yeah! If you want something automated then the best bet is to have a list of all the follow blogs in your keyword and just go down the list and manually insert relivent statements.

Maybe there is something that will automatically take you to an updated blog.... how about an rss feed for an email that is only for commenting on.

Just some thoughts

Yea if you are going to comment like this, while you can use WP blogs, I suggest doing Blog Engine Blogs. They are usually autoapprove and no real spam filter... except the newest version of it so get it while its good!

If you commenting on blogs first read the post on which you are commenting and then leave a comment related to that post may be admin of the blogs approves your comment and you will get a backlink to your site. But always search for a do follow blog.

Get smarter and forget wordpress.

There's a whole universe of do - follow high PR sites out there with no moderation.

Get a big list of spammers websites - websites which people have left as spam (anywhere). Then, follow their trails on backlinkwatch. You'll be amazed at the ingenious ways people find to get backlinks, and then you'll laugh at yourself for trying to sneak name links past wordpress moderators.

This is not a new trick. It's the standard way of blog commenting.

I'd avoid most Wordpress blogs, though. BlogEngine are better.

surely viagra keywords wont stic kon any moderated blog even if u write best generic comment ;)

Spammy name comments are ok on my autoblog as long as theres no live link inside the comment.

I can't be the only one thinking that way.

Well this will be considered as back link if blog admin approves it, which is likely to be approved. I have been getting such comments on my health blog and I have been approving them with no worries. Rather this helped my site also in increasing its PR.

Thanks
