If you have a comment collapsed, what do you always do? Do you delete it completely? Then manufacture engagement in the target subreddit to later comment on the previously collapsed comment? Or do you fix it, then it uncollapses? If so , how do you go about that ?

need to delete it complete and go on the subreddit with another profile to post same comment and wait on the result if not collapse.
Thanks

If a comment is collapsed, first check why.

  • If low votes or spammy, delete it.
  • If fixable (e.g. wording, format, Automod issue), edit it — sometimes it uncollapses.
  • You can also delete it, engage in the subreddit, then repost later with better trust.

I upvote it with alt accounts first, then edit, works most times.

If a comment’s collapsed, I usually edit it slightly change a word or two, add context, make it look more “human.” Sometimes that’s enough to get it uncollapsed. If it stays down, I let it sit for a while and come back with fresh engagement elsewhere before touching that thread again. Deleting it is a last resort unless it’s clearly flagged or downvoted to oblivion.

if your comment gets nuked, you can try editing it and sometimes it pops back. if not, just build some karma in the sub then circle back with a better one. gotta play it smart not force it
