Commas, Hyphens or less pipes as a separator in Titles

Hey haters.

I just had a discussion with someone about using separators in Titles.

What do you normally use as a separator in Titles for better SEO results.

Less Pipes = |

Hyphens = -

Commas = ,

i already know that underscores are not suitable for this... Please share your thoughts. Also please do not share anything for URLS. its all about Titles.

I mostly use | they look better in my opinion, no idea on actual SEO value.

Pipes aren't just for smoking
they seem to translate better to
(although I've never had a conversation with one yet)

In My Opinion "Less Pipes = |" is Much better...Because Generally It is Called "OR" sign.

I do Generally Use "|" For Title...

Now my question is ..Hyphens are ignored in google but | is not.

What do you think? am i right?
