Hey there BHW, I've see countless posts about people creating Kindle e-books and scaling up by rolling out XX amount of books per week to generate more sales. My question here is how the hell do people come up with so many different topics? Of course, all of these books are in the non-fiction category, but I don't know what you would write 20 e-books about. Unless you're an expert at something that would have a wide array of topics underneath it, how would you come to write so many books on any subject?

They outsource meaning they get someone else to write them giving them full rights to the content... You can find such ppl at fiverr.com, odesk.com,freelancer.com

You don't have to be an expert to publish books. You just have to search for the information about your topic on the Internet. Use different sources and write a book by your own.

Eg. I am thin and have no idea of dieting. I hate to cook. But I published a 5 book series about diet recipes. I am a man and I hate household but my last book is about household tips. My books are selling very well.

Of course you can not write a medical book, because you need expertise there. But most of the topics are still pretty simple. And if you want to publish more books you can outsorce the writing ...because every housewife can search for specific information and write a book of 10.000 words.

The writing is the easy part that everyone can do. But to market a book you have to be clever. You have to search for a good niche, good keywords and so on.

I agree with cladlover. They can easily find other people to do their stuff for them at sites like oDesk and Elancer. Then the publisher owns all the rights to the content they get, not the author. Anyways, its not like there is a shortage of knowledge on topics and their information on the net.

Researching profitable book ideas isn't difficult, it's just time consuming when done manually. What you want to do is draft a list of things you're comfortable writing about (as many as you can think of) and then run them through a short process to find relevant keywords that shoppers are currently searching for. From there, you'll run each of those keywords through another short process to identify which of them are profitable by looking at factors like daily spend and competition type.

There's a free guide on the whole process at http://zonsidekick.com

    Cheers!
