combine frames in dreamweaver as index page?

hey guys,

I'm using DW and I created 4 frames and without knowing how to create an index page combining the 4 frames...

anyone have an idea of how I can do that?

I tried to create an index page from previewing in explorer or firefox, then coping the code ...but it doesn't work..

I'm just getting back into using DW myself but I think I remember that when you create a frame set, when you save it there will be a file called like "frameset" as opposed to frame1, frame2 etc.. "frameset" will be the "index" ... hope that makes sense?

but i think it's a bit deeper in terms of a resolution....I no longer really have the "save frameset" I thought I did at one point? but still not sure that is the answer as I'm beyond that now...!
