.com vs .org

I am looking at website with EMD's, and im wondering how much better .com is than .org. Is it worth going for an adsense site with $1.50 CPC with 1000 exact searches per month with a .org because the .com isnt avaliable?

it more or less depends on the keyword competition
first check if EMD.com is already ranking or not

In my experience they're both OK in terms of SEO, .com ideal but .org can rank well too. It's gonna depend on what you do with it, how popular you make it, etc.

Both works well based on personal experience. If you can get hold of the .com, go for .com it's easy to remember for most people especially if you're building an authoritative site on your niche.

You're telling me you can't come up with a variation that still includes the exact match keywords?

Just give it a little time and thought and you'll be able to come up with a domain variation that includes the exact match keywords..

You'll be able to rank both just fine. They will both need effort. EMD does not hold the same weight as it used to, but it still holds some weight.

Users generally favor .com tlds. .Orgs are usually looked upon as organization type websites.

At the end of the day, it'll become personal preference.
