.com or .be SEO Question ?

Hello

I know .com is better name for domain but the problem is my keyword domain is already taken and to get the same keyword I had to take even .be or .me or .in , what do you think about that , is it bad for seo to have .be domain or it won't harm ??

.be is mostly used for Belgium country, but it is possible to rank high with it for USA traffic.

If the domain is available in any other global extension then go ahead for it may it be .org, .net, .info

Moving on further if you have a country targetted audience then only go with the country specific cctld or if that isn't the case use hyphen in the domain. Definitely the domains with the keywords in them are given a higher weightage by search engines than the rest.

i'm not focusing on specific country traffic , I guess adding hypen and getting public domain name either .net or .org is better

Yeah man, Ive ranked well with domains using hyphens. Give it a try.
