.com .net .org ,,which is better?

.com just by the sheer fact that people most of the time remember a domain as a .com.

.com looks more legit imo.

Com, Org, and Net all look legitimate, especially since some of the world's top websites use these 3 TLDs (Facebook.com, Wikipedia.org, and Themeforest.net).

That's a great point. If you have a great name and want to protect it, get the alternatives when you can to protect your brand. I agree with many others. .com should be first if you are doing business on the web.

Short answer: No.

Long answer: We need to wait and see in a year from now to see who are really renewing these new tlds. Many new tlds have insane renewal $'s. (I've seem some annual renewals range from $12.99 to $XXX (idk why but the high renewals looked like .video ??)
What I took away from some of the seo experts' blog posts about this topic, new tlds do not help or harm in regards to SEO.

Also, I read recently on name.com that Google applied for 100 strings... so the only real attraction to new tld is just a simple fact it's different/interesting, and marketing/branding (if the domain is available, it makes for something catchy/memorable vs. '.com' - example: ilovebeer.com vs ilove.beer) A major problem I'm foreseeing are copyrights/trademark infringement suits.

Search for the most expensive kw in your niche. Check now many non .com domains are in the top 10

The Main Difference between them...

.com - Commercial website
.net - Network Related domains
.org - Non-Profit Organizations

So, it doesn't make much of a difference in ranking.

Those are their original intended purposes, although many people register domains frivolously, especially since most domains do not have any real restrictions. For example, one of my former clients registered a .me (ccTLD for Montenegro) domain because "it's all about me".
