The .com version of a domain is what most people will think of searching first, although I don't believe there are any differences in the SEO benefits of each TLD.
.xxx isn't too important, not even for porn sites (see what I did there?).

If you have the choice, I'd always go with the .com. Even with the proliferation of new tld extensions, everyone defaults to this in their head. If you go with the .net or .org, you always risk losing type-in traffic from those bypassing Google to get to you.
I agree with Zwielicht that there isn't much difference from an SEO perspective.

I was dealing with something like this yesterday. Found a great domain name but the .com & .net were taken (not being used either, someone is just holding onto them sadly)
Had to decide between finding a new name OR purchase the .org. I plan to rank my site solely through SEO so I went a head and bought it.
If you're creating a brand try and get a .com. Anything else, the extension doesn't matter.

I see. So the acronym is TLD.. I am creating a micro niche website. There's also a say that to have good ranking, the choice of the name must be "keyword".com .. Is that correct?

No, that isn't true at all anymore. If you don't know what you are doing an exact macth domain can contribute to over optimizing. (I'm not saying you can't rank them - just that you don't neeed one to rank).
I'd stick with a broader name that be built out with a bunch of different topics. Get your KWs into the title and url though.

For the price, .com is the same price as .net and .org.. It makes more sense to choose .com. It's just that sometimes many of the .com domain we wanna use are not available..

People prefer .com because most of us know about it, I mean it's the mentality of most people that websites having .com are more trustworthy. I don't think that there are any ranking differences among the different TLDs, I've seen people rank .xxx domains for many KWs.

The preference should be given firstly on the basis of purpose, the site is going to serve. Secondly, you can target local customers by county codes of TLDs. And yes, you can even choose some keywords for the domain so that you can get on the top of the list easily.

It depends on what's available. If you want a certain domain name, but someone else has already taken it, then try the same domain name with a different domain, such as .net or .ca or .us or whatever.

If you wanna buy a dot net or org make sure you have this domains .com ltd also or you may lost a lot traffic ..
