.COM domain for 0.99$ only - Limited Time Offer

Wow! Just checked on Google and found too many complaints about 1and1 scam. I want to buy a domain too buy unfortunately will not be taking risk on this website. Better grab the $4.95 domain name at Godaddy.

It seems many have already shared this info that I see when I used the search on here. But, with those many complaints. I would rather wait for a coupon from GD, NC or some other good registrar.

Would advice others to stay away as well.

I don't know why 1and1 is a bad plan, they're one of oldest domain and hosting registrar just like yahoo.com - I'm wondering what happened to them to get such a bad credit and their business not picking at all for the last 7 years. Anyone know the background?

And why they gonna scam people for a domain or two since every top dog going for such $0.99 domain first year promotion program.

I don't think I would go with 1&1 with such a track record for bad domain registration, for me I use namecheap and they even provide a whois guard but lately I discovered justHost, they give you a free dot com domain with a monthly hosting plan of just $3.75 PM.

Pm me please! I dont have enough posts yet and don't want to spam. I need a couple of domains atm.

Read their contract carefully before you buy. Their contract essentially makes them god and you nothing.

It says they can do anything at any time and you can't do anything about it. Even though you always pay in advanced via credit card automatic debit, it says that if your credit card is declined for any reason (mine was declined because a new valid through date kicked in) that they can continue to bill you and if you don't pay they will turn you over to a collection agency. It says that you agree to pay all collection costs and that you cannot sue them.
