.com .co.uk or .uk for a Brand website?

I'm thinking about creating a Brand. I know I should buy all 3 and redirect to the one I'm going to use.

This website does not sell anything, but will get ONLY UK traffic because it's UK based. Mainly used by younger people to study for their exams.

I was going to go for .UK and redirect .co.uk to this one and forget about buying .com since it's a UK based brand.

People will not be typing in brandname.com or brandname.co.uk but rather simply type in brandname and click on the brand. Also the brand contains a UK specific keyword, so it can only target UK.

To own the .uk you have to have the domain in .co.uk or one of a few other extentions like .org.uk .me.uk

if you're based in the uk go for uk

Buy the .co.uk and the .com to cover you.

Get all of them and redirect .com and .co.uk to .uk. That's what I would do.

Get every variation and redirect them to the one you want to use.
